the cocktail party kit
This fictional paper product kit came from a project in my “Design Administration” course - learning about client work and pitching a new concept to an already developed brand. We were tasked with creating a new line of paper products for Hester & Cook, a company that specializes in paper table runners and party supplies.
In the introduction to the project, I noted something that was mentioned about the company - “our audience is older, because younger people don’t like to throw parties as much.” I don’t believe this to be true; young adults want to throw parties, they just may not have the supplies/budget needed.
I wanted to make a party kit aimed at young adults, specifically those throwing a fun cocktail party for their friends.
